Jessica Dihukum 20 Tahun Bui, Vonis Sesuai Tuntutan Jaksa


Setelah melalui beberapa kali sidang, akhirnya sang tersangka pembunuh Mirna, Jessica pada hari ini telah dijatuhi Vonis oleh Hakim Pengadian Negerei Jakarta Pusat. Majelis hakim Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat menjatuhkan hukuman 20 tahun penjara kepada terdakwa Jessica Kumala Wongso dalam sidang pembacaan vonis hari ini, Kamis, 27 Oktober 2016.



"Menyatakan terdakwa Jessica Kumala Wongso alias Jessica terbukti bersalah melakukan tindak pidana pembunuhan berencana," kata Ketua hakim Kisworo saat membacakan vonis di Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat.



Hukuman tersebut sesuai dengan tuntutan jaksa penuntut umum sebelumnya. Jessica dinyatakan terbukti melakukan pembunuhan berencana terhadap Wayan Mirna Salihin, teman kuliahnya di Australia.

Pembunuhan itu bermula ketika Jessica mengajak Mirna, Hani, dan Vera untuk reuni lantaran sudah lama tak berjumpa. Pertemuan tersebut terjadi pada 6 Januari 2016 di kafe Olivier, Jakarta. Jessica datang lebih dulu dan memesankan tempat di meja nomor 54.

Jessica juga memesankan es kopi Vietnam untuk Mirna Wayan Salihin. Minuman itu kemudian diminum Mirna dan kemudian mengakibatkan dia kejang-kejang. Mulutnya juga mengeluarkan busa.

Mirna meninggal dalam perjalanan menuju Rumah Sakit Abdi Waluyo. Setelah diperiksa, di dalam lambung Mirna ditemukan racun sianida sebesar 0,02 miligram. Pada 30 Januari 2016, polisi menangkap Jessica dan menetapkan statusnya sebagai tersangka.
