Heboh ! Sedang Gali Kubur, Tiba Tiba Warga Malah Temukan Benda Ini..

Kejadian ini sungguh sangat menghebohkan warga yang tinggal di Dusun Sokoliman II, Bejiharjo, Karangmojo, Gunung Kidul. Warga di dusun tersebut dihebohkan dengan temuan benda aneh yang panjangnya sekitar 4 meter.



Parijo, yang merupakan Juru Kunci Makam Sokoliman menceritakan, penemuan ini berawal saat warganya melakukan penggalian untuk pemakaman di Sokoliman.
Namun, saat mencapai kedalaman 30 cm, cangkul seorang warga membentur benda keras.

“Samping-sampingnya langsung digali, diikuti, dan ternyata batunya berbentuk panjang,” kata pria berusia 50 tahun itu, Minggu (20/11/2016), sebagaimana dikutip Tribuntravel.com.

Panjang 4 meter, dan diameter kurang lebih 1 meter

Setelah dilakukan penggalian, lanjut Parijo, batu panjang tersebut patah menjadi dua bagian. Tetapi warga mencoba menyatukannya, dan setelah diukur panjangnya mencapai 4 meter dan diameternya kurang lebih 1 meter.
Merasa penemuan ini bagian dari sejarah, warga lantas berinisiatif melaporkan ke pihak Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Yogyakarta.

Dan ternyata benar, setelah diperiksa petugas BPCB, batu sepanjang 4 meter itu adalah menhir.

“Memang menhir. Di zaman dulu, menhir ini untuk pemujaan atau sebagai patok batas penanda wilayah kekuasaan,” kata Kepala Seksi Perlindungan Pengembangan dan Pemanfaatan BPCB Yogyakarta, Wahyu Astuti.

Untuk menjaga batu menhir tersebut, warga membungkusnya dengan plastik. Dan rencananya batu menhir ini akan dimasukkan ke koleksi situs Sokoliman.
