Ahok Dicecar Bareskrim, Apa Reaksi Jokowi?

Lambannya proses hukum terhadap Gubernur DKI, Ahok membuat banyak kalangan berspekulasi bahwa Jokowi ada dibalik Ahok dan berusaha melindungi Ahok. Terkait hal ini Presiden Joko Widodo meminta tidak ada syak wasangka dalam pengusutan perkara dugaan penistaan agama oleh calon Gubernur DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok. Ia ingin kasus itu benar-benar diusut tuntas tanpa kecurigaan apapun.

"Saya sudah perintahkan kepada Kapolri agar pemeriksaannya nanti bersifat terbuka," ujar Presiden Joko Widodo saat meninjau Tol Becakayu di Jakarta Timur, Senin, 7 November 2016. "Harus dilihat apakah ada aturan hukum atau Undang-Undang yang perbolehkan atau tidak. Kalau boleh, saya minta dibuka," ujar Jokowi. Hari ini, Polri memeriksa Ahok terkait kasus penistaan agama karena ucapannya di Kepulauan Seribu akhir September lalu. Kala itu, Ahok meminta warga Kepulauan Seribu agar jangan mau dibohongi orang yang memakai surat Al-Maidah untuk menyerangnya.

Surat itu kerap ditafsirkan sebagai ajakan jangan memilih pemimpin non muslim. Ucapan Ahok itu memicu demontrasi besar-besaran pada 4 November pekan lalu. Demonstran mendesak pemerintahan Jokowi agar memerintahkan Kepolisian menuntaskan perkara Ahok dan menghukumnya.

Mereka menduga Ahok dilindungi pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo sehingga kasusnya belum juga tuntas hingga sekarang. Adapun Ahok sudah berulang kali meminta maaf kepada umat Islam terkait ucapannya tersebut.
