Timnas Lawan Vietnam, Lilipaly Siap Tampil

Semakin dekatnya ajang bergengsi Piala AFF 2016, TIm Indonesia pun semakin giat dan semakin memantapkan kemampuan timnya untuk menatap Laga-laga Piala Aff 2016. Salah satu pemain yang masuk dalam daftar 27 pemain yang dipanggil mengikuti pemusatan latihan tim nasional Indonesia di Lapangan Universitas Pelita Harapan, Karawaci akhir pekan ini adalah Stefano Lilipaly.
Daftar tersebut menjadi kerangka tim yang akan dibawa menjalani dua uji coba internasional. Namun, Lilipaly baru bisa bergabung dengan Skuat Garuda ketika menghadapi Vietnam pada 8 November 2016 mendatang.

"Lilipaly rencananya gabung tanggal 6, sebelum melawan Vietnam. Soalnya dia tanggal 4 masih main di Liga Belanda," kata asisten pelatih timnas Indonesia, Wolfgang Pikal saat ditemui di Hotel Yasmin, Karawaci, Jumat 28 Oktober 2016.

Dengan kepastian tersebut, kemudian pemain asal klub Telstar FC tersebut akan absen dalam lima hari pemusatan latihan kali ini. Dia juga takkan ikut berlaga ketika skuat asuhan Alfred Riedl beruji coba dengan Myanmar 4 November 2016.

Pemain berusia 26 tahun tersebut menjadi satu-satunya naturalisasi yang ada dalam Skuat Garuda saat ini. Riedl dalam kesempatan beberapa waktu lalu mengaku ingin menjajal kemampuannya yang saat ini sedang dalam performa positif dengan Telstar.

Persiapan ini sekaligus juga menjadi acuan tim pelatih untuk menentukan pemain yang akan dibawa berlaga pada Piala AFF Myanmar-Filipina 2016 mendatang. Pikal mengatakan, ke-27 nama ini merupakan bayangan tim nanti, meski bisa saja ada perubahan mendadak.

"Kita masih punya dua uji coba, jadi kita lihat kemampuan pemain. Mungkin saja ada perubahan," tutur pria asal Austria tersebut.
