Pengacara Saipul Jamil Dituntut Lima Tahun Penjara

Selain persidangan kasus pembunuhan Mirna yang digelar hari ini, dimana Hakim akan membacakan vonis terhadap Jessica, di tempat lain ada juga persidangan yang menyeret Pengacara Saiful Jamil. Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi menggelar sidang kasus suap Panitera Jakarta Utara, Rohadi, yang dilakukan oleh pengacara Saipul Jamil, Kasman Sangaji.


Jaksa Penuntut Umum Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi, M Nur Azis, meminta Kasman dihukum lima tahun penjara dan juga membayar denda.
"Agar majelis hakim menjatuhkan pidana terhadap terdakwa Kasman alias Kasman Sangaji, berupa pidana penjara selama lima tahun dikurangi masa hukuman, dan pidana denda sebesar Rp250 juta subsider lima bulan kurungan," kata Nur Azis ketika membacakan surat tuntutan di Jakarta, Kamis 27 Oktober 2016.
Jaksa menilai, berdasarkan fakta persidangan, Kasman terbukti menyuap Rohadi sebesar Rp50 juta, guna penanganan perkara pelecehan seksual Saipul Jamil. Uang itu sedianya digunakan untuk menentukan hakim yang akan mengadili Saipul Jamil.
Kasman, lanjut Nur Azis, bersama dengan Berthanatalia Ruruk Kariman, Samsul Hidayatullah dan Saipul Jamil, juga telah memberi hadiah berupa uang sebesar Rp250 juta kepada Rohadi.
Saat membacakan tuntutan, Nur Azis mengaku telah melewati beberapa pertimbangan. Hal yang meringankan, terdakwa belum pernah dihukum.
Sementara hal yang memberatkan, terdakwa dinilai tidak mendukung program pemerintah dalam pemberantasan korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme. Selaku penegak hukum, terdakwa telah mencoreng nama baik profesi pengacara.
