Mantan Kontestan Miss World Pilih Berkerudung

Hidayah yang datang dari Tuhan memang bisa turun pada siapa saja. Kali ini yang beruntung mendapat hidayah adalah Seorang mantan kontestan Miss World 2014 asal Kyrgyzstan, Aikol Alikzhanova, akhirnya memutuskan berkerudung. Ia mengambil langkah ini setelah merasa keyakinannya terdahulu tak relevan.
Dalam pesannya kepada para penggemar, Alikzhanova menyampaikan keputusannya untuk berkerudung merupakan keputusannya sendiri. Ia meminta orang-orang menghormati keputusan itu.

Alikzhakova yang juga pemenang Miss Kyrgyzstan 2014 sebelumnya membiarkan rambutnya terbuka di berbagai kesempatan. Seiring pengumuman keputusannya ini di media sosial yang ia miliki, Alikzhakova juga menghapus semua foto saat ia belum berkerudung.

''Saya bahagia karena saya seorang Muslim. Anda tak usah memedulikan hidup saya, perhatikan saja hidup masing-masing. Beberapa mungkin tertawa, mencibir, tapi saya akan melanjutkan apa yang sudah saya putuskan. Jangan menyakiti mereka yang berbuat baik pada Anda,'' tutur Alikzhakova di media sosialnya seperti dikutip The Independent, beberapa waktu lalu.

Meski mendapat dukungan, ada pula penggemar Alikzhakova yang bertanya apakah keputusannya itu karena paksaan. Alikzhakova sendiri membantah hal itu. Ia menyatakan, kini ia berusaha menutup aurat dan ini keputusan yang ia buat dengan sadar.

''Saya senang dengan kondisi saya saat ini. Saya memang seorang Kyrgyz, tapi kepercayaan saya irelevan. Mari saling menghormati. Semoga kedamaian dan kebaikan untuk kalian semua,'' tulis Alikzhakova. Kyrgyzstan merupakan negara dengan populasi enam juta jiwa di mana mayoritasnya adalah Muslim.
