Demo Anti-Ahok 4 November, Polda Kerahkan 7.000 Personel

Seperti yang telah diberitakan sebelumnya, bahwa akan terjadi aksi massa ormas-ormas Islam untuk menuntut diprosesnya AHOK, untuk mengamanka aksi demonstrasi tersebut Kepala Kepolisian Daerah Metro Jaya Irjen Mochamad Iriawan mengatakan akan mengerahkan 7.000 personel gabungan TNI dan Kepolisian pada Jumat, 4 November 2016.

Front Pembela Islam dan sejumlah organisasi keagamaan berencana menggelar demo besar menuntut pengusutan terhadap Gubernur DKI nonaktif Basuki Tjahaja Purnama yang dituding menodai agama Islam. Demo itu akan dilakukan usai salat Jumat dengan berjalan dari Masjid Istiqlal menuju Istana Presiden.

Kapolda mempersilakan semua organisasi massa, termasuk FPI, menyampaikan aspirasi tersebut. Namun ia mengingatkan pengunjuk rasa harus menciptakan suasana kondusif selama demonstrasi.

"Sesuai komitmen, harus menciptakan situasi kondusif di ibu kota," kata Iriawan, Kamis, 27 Oktober 2016.

Setelah mengikuti acara silaturahmi bersama tim sukses dari ketiga pasangan calon Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur, ia menuturkan petugas keamanan yang diturunkan untuk mengawal demonstrasi sudah menjadi perintah presiden.

"Untuk mengawal demonstrasi harus melibatkan semua petugas keamanan negara," ujar Iriawan.

Iriawan menambahkan, penambahan personel untuk mengawal demonstrasi pada 4 November 2016 sudah disiapkan. "Kalau kemarin kita turunkan 5.000 personel, kali ini sekitar 7.000 untuk mengamankan aksi demonstrasi," kata dia.
